Job Responsibilities
Babies Can't Wait Service Coordinator Supervisor
Under supervision of BCW Early Intervention Coordinator:
1. Provides general supervision of service coordinators contracted with the BCW program. Conducts desktop monitoring/case reviews for federal/state performance & compliance policies.
2. Will maintain small caseload of eligible BCW clients. Assists families in gaining access to early intervention services. Coordinates multiple providers of services and works collaboratively with community agencies and providers.
3. Co-lead all Primary Service Provider (PSP) Team meetings in the district.
4. Co-lead BCW team meetings, and handle BCW related issues with district and contract staff when Early Intervention Coordinator is unavailable.
5. Maintains knowledge of current trends in Early Intervention. Coordinates training opportunities for contracted providers on BCW policy standards, and EI standards. Provides technical assistance to service coordinator providers.
6. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND one year experience OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND three years’ experience in Social Service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with 0-3 population.
• Experience working with the Babies Can't Wait (BCW) program.
• Some supervisor experience, desired
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Training background
