Full Time

As an assistant director of enrollment, you will provide individualized customer service and guidance on issues — including admission, right program fit, eligibility requirements, financial aid processes, enrollment issues, etc. — to students of all types (e.g., undergraduate, transfer, graduate, non-degree, summer programs). You will build a lasting network of connections while striving to meet enrollment goals for a targeted region by assisting students, parents, and educators, and will receive and process all required documents for admission and scholarship evaluation. Document processing will include preparation of files for admission committee review, evaluation of transcripts for each application, and recommendations for acceptance and scholarships. You will also serve as a first read and advocate for remarkable students in your assigned region.

In this position, you will be a key player in spreading awareness of SCAD within your region. You will do this through in-person and virtual methods, including nurturing relationships with high schools, universities, institutes, and government organizations. As part of your recruitment methods, and alongside the associate director and regional teammates, you will research and conduct travel to community colleges, non-profit organizations, art-related institutions, and other organizations of interest. A significant part of your role will be to encourage students to visit the university and apply for admission through engaging communications and creative classroom presentations. Your presence at the SCAD Atlanta location will be vital in staffing events such as SCAD Days, Spotlight Days, and summer programs. You will also play a key role in meeting with prospective students, providing college tours, covering LiveAgent shifts, and collaborating to plan and host Educator Retreats. Among other duties, you will assess financial documents for I-20 issuance, collaborate with departments across campus, manage your travel calendar, and participate in regular training and professional development opportunities.

The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational, presentation, and writing skills. The candidate is enthusiastic, able to balance their drive to meet enrollment goals with the university’s values, brand, and reputation. The candidate must also be able to participate in special events and evening or weekend work as needed. Additional duties may be assigned at any time.
