Become a Business Operations Analysis Senior Specialist - Corporate Real Estate at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll report directly to the Sr. Manager of CRE Operations, leading the procure-to-pay and vendor processing workflows necessary to manage SCE’s 7 million square foot non-electric real estate portfolio. You’ll be responsible for the processing and tracking of purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and contractor work authorizations; reconciling payment terms/conditions; processing monthly and annual accruals and journal entries; and developing procure-to-pay process improvements. In addition, you’ll provide support for budgets, quality controls, reporting, analytics, and special projects. In this position, you’ll engage regularly with the CRE divisions, our Finance and Procurement partners, and external vendors.

Responsibilities
- Provides reporting on key metrics related to major programs and initiatives
- Develops, produces, and tracks key metrics through automated processes and KPI dashboards
- Monitors the creation and storage of documentation and records for use in project monitoring, ensuring accuracy and completeness in order to track project/program costs, resources, schedules, and status for management review
- Delivers data analysis and business intelligence reports, including complex requests with high internal and external visibility or special requests, such as audits
- Coordinates research efforts on various topics to ensure timely information is gathered which can form the basis for decision making on organization priorities and needs
- Contributes to process improvement and refinement efforts of department and/or Operating Unit
- Develop and maintains systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications in support of Business Operations analysis
- Develops and reports on key performance indicators to measure efficiency and effectiveness of projects and programs
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience performing business operations analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting or related major.
- Three or more years of experience in contract management, documentation control or creating procurement-related documents
- Three or more years of experience in procurement and business technology platforms, such as SAP and Ariba
- Two or more years of experience supporting project-related activities or in an analytical role
- Experience and working knowledge of general accounting practices, such as accruals
- Experience working with multi-functional teams across multiple fields (e.g., finance, accounting, procurement, project management), and internal and external personnel
- Certification as a Project Management Professional, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience using a Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) / Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Archibus.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

Salary range
- $103,800 - $155,800 per year
