The Coordinator, Content Marketing works closely with Envision’s marketing team members to design, manage, execute, and produce content for our website and social media channels. This role’s main responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day content and online community needs of Envision’s digital media channels. The Coordinator, Content Marketing will also aid in managing the project coordination for the marketing department to include opening marketing request jobs, communicating timelines, ensuring that all specifications are met, working with vendors and routing projects from beginning to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
- Produce high quality and engaging content across various formats of Envision's digital and print platforms, including website, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with various departments and programs to gather information to create content that reflects Envision's mission and programs.
- Develop and manage content calendars and oversee daily posting and engagement across all Envision digital channels.
- Create and edit visual and multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and photos, to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Facilitate online conversations with followers and respond to messages and comments.
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
- Support events by creating and managing real-time content across digital platforms.
- Ensure all content aligns with Envision's brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities to improve social media
- engagement and reach.
- Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in content development.
- Capture design requirements and project goals.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or similar required.
Experience:
Two years of experience in content creation and coordination. Experience within a non-profit setting is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Proficient in management of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Ability to create shareable content on multiple platforms and can measure and report results in collaboration with Marketing Manager.
- Familiar with social and web analytics (i.e., Google Analytics) and the importance of SEO.
- Efficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Microsoft 365 a plus (i.e., ability to use OneDrive to organize and share files).
- Artistic with a keen eye for aesthetics and visually appealing content, while maintaining consistent branding overall and accomplishing business goals.
- Knowledge of web editing and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Ability to collaborate, multi-task and work at a quick pace as needed and bring an attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
