Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $32.57.

Johns Manville's Insulation Systems facility located in Richmond, IN is hiring an Electromechanical Technician who enjoys being part of a team environment

Hours are 5am-5pm or 5pm-5am.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Electrical repair and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience in 480v AC motor control circuits. (Journeyman's card preferred, not required).
  • Electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with motors troubleshooting and repair
  • Variable frequency drives/Drives
  • High voltage troubleshooting experience
  • Controls troubleshooting experience

As a member of the team, you can expect:

  • Pay starting $32.57/hr.
  • Shift premiums + overtime + bonus incentive plan
  • Schedule -- Hours are 5am-5pm or 5pm-5am; You will be working a 3-2-2 schedule which means you will be able to enjoy 3-4 days off a week and every other weekend off.

You will work under the general supervision of the shift supervisor, performing all electrical maintenance on equipment to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Richmond, IN plant produces high volumes of quality blowing wool insulation for contractors and retail customers.
