Job Summary

ECTC is seeking a Financial Specialist II to serve as the Office Receptionist and Head Cashier. This position assists incoming front office customers, collects and applies tuition payments, and is the front line of Customer Service to the Business Office; including face to face, phone, emails, and help desk customer service. Audits ECTC employee travel reimbursements and keeps accurate records for all ECTC contracts.

Job Duties:

• Serves as Office Receptionist and Head Cashier: answers telephone, direct calls, vending funds, greets customers entering office and directs persons to correct destination. Interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests. Receive and distribute mail?
• Serves student requests in person, on the phone, the Business Office email, and Blackboard tickets.
• Receipts tuition payments received in the office.
• Audits travel vouchers and expense reimbursements.
• Responsible for the student refund process to include weekly queries, posting refunds to student accounts, coordinating with Financial Aid Office, and contacting students regarding undeliverable status.
• Administer and record keeping for all ECTC contracts for expiration dates and renewal processing with college contacts, including communication to internal requestors and communicating to outside vendors on contracts.
• Assist with Perkins purchase processing, including reconciliation of orders to master tracking spreadsheet and inputting data.
• Serves as administrative assistant to the Director of Finance, with duties as assigned.
• Cashier Close out/opening -Reconciles daily cash receipts and prepares bank deposits.
• Assist students with selecting a Bank Mobile refund preference, trouble shooting, and setting up payment plans.
• Assist students with Nelnet payment plan set up and questions.
• Administer the ECTC Business Affairs webpage.
• Operate the ECTC Signal Vine text message system.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or equivalent.
