SCAD Savannah seeks a passionate and accomplished UX design professor to join its award-winning faculty in Savannah, Georgia. This part-time position offers the opportunity to develop the next generation of UX leaders by fostering a dynamic and intellectually stimulating learning environment.

As a SCAD UX design professor, you will leverage the principles and tools of a progressive design platform to equip students with the skills they need to excel in the ever-evolving field of UX design. You will foster a strong interdisciplinary design community across SCAD locations and collaborate with related academic disciplines such as graphic design, industrial design, design management, and design for sustainability.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management skills, particularly in organizing and delivering a curriculum that prepares students for real-world challenges, with a proven record of success in teaching UX design at the college level. This individual will excel at fostering critical thinking and curiosity, motivating both students and faculty to push the boundaries of UX design innovation. Expertise in a wide range of UX methodologies, including information architecture, cognitive human factors, and both qualitative and quantitative user research, is essential. Strong skills in visual storytelling, digital prototyping, and UI design, as well as proficiency in usability testing, will further enable the successful candidate to craft interactive, intuitive, and engaging user experiences. Minimum Qualifications:

• Terminal degree (or equivalent) in the discipline or in a relevant field.
• Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
• Experience in or knowledge of related professions.
