The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for a Public Affairs Operations Analyst to join an excellent team. This is a Full-Time, Permanent, Classified position with the External Relations Division.
The AA Salary Range for this position is between $6,123.00 to $9,409.00 per month.
What you will do!
The Operations and Communications Strategist supports the External Relations Division’s Communications Unit with strategic project management for communications projects, reporting, governance, and daily operations.
The Operations and Communications Strategist administers procurement processes and manages vendor contracts and relations.
The External Relations Division helps to ensure correct, consistent, and timely communication on behalf of the Oregon Health Authority with the legislature, external stakeholders, media outlets, the public and other state agencies. This Division also coordinates responses and bill implementation among the six other divisions of OHA.

What we are looking for:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
Requested Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively manage irate and hostile members.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and have flexibility, work demand tolerance and exhibit written and oral communication skills including effective communication with coworkers.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
