Overview

Reporting to the Sales Administrator, the Sales Operations Associate Analyst is responsible for maintaining data integrity, process improvement, and company profitability. This is an ideal opportunity for analytical individuals transitioning from sales or customer service roles, offering the chance to understand the interplay of systems, data, and processes, while also learning new programs and making an immediate impact.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and updating customer details, data, and documentation.
  • Extract, edit, and upload data stored in Excel formats from a variety of sources, including Excel, SB Client, and Qlik.
  • Extract and adjust data to manage cost and sell pricing for contracted customers
  • Analyze sell pricing information from discontinued items to merge existing data into new replacement item matrices so that pricing uniformity is ensured.
  • Assist with data cleansing and maintenance.
  • Promptly locate and provide missing rebate report information to the Finance Department.  Address inquiries from vendors throughout the rebating process which includes supplying documentation of contract and invoice costs.
  • Assist in prioritizing and responding to inbound requests from the sales, procurement, and operations teams and direct queries to the relevant parties for prompt resolution.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of internal procedures and protocols, enabling effective handling of requests and quick responses.
  • Execute tasks such as adjusting sales orders in alignment with specified guidelines, ensuring accurate and expeditious completion.
  • Manage follow-ups and provide updates as required, maintaining open lines of communication and timely resolution.
  • Assist with generating and running reports.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Computer and software proficiency (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, CRM).
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel.
  • Basic financial literacy and an understanding of markups, margin, and costs.
  • Commitment to excellence with an attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks with a deadline-driven work ethic.
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated by the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining efficient workflow and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong, collaborative communication skills with a demonstrated high level of emotional intelligence
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills aimed toward process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality in all areas.
  • Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience with Epicor Prelude a plus, but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to sit up to 90% of the time to perform various job-related tasks
  • Must be able to walk, move or traverse throughout the area of assignment to perform various job-related tasks
  • Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) in order to operate various types of office and hand-held industrial equipment
  • Must be able to inspect all equipment to ensure they are in good working condition prior to use
  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs to perform various job-related tasks, if necessary
  • Must be able to position self to stand, move, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Salary is $50K - $70K

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is an office position. Standard hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

TRAVEL

There is rare overnight travel required (less than 5%) and specifically pertains to company events and training sessions.
