The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day. 

Membership Portfolio Services is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. Each of the businesses within Membership Portfolio Services connect Card Members with Merchants - a key differentiator of our Membership Model - and which also represent a significant opportunity to help drive our growth over the mid-to-long term.

Amex Offers sits within the Membership Portfolio Services Team.

Launched in 2012, Amex Offers is a digital advertising platform that connects Merchants, Advertisers and brands with the tens of millions of American Express Card Members across the globe. The Amex Offers team develops strategic marketing partnerships that deliver – through the Amex offers platform - unique differentiated value to reach high-spending Card Members in the digital channels where they engage with American Express. Through this solution, we can help advertisers get laser-focused on who our mutual customers are, what they want, and how we can meet their needs - delivering deep insights and maximizing results.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Senior Analyst will support the growth and development of Amex Offers, helping to define what winning looks like across Operations, Business Development, Card Member Marketing, and Capabilities and driving adoption of new tactics globally. This position will assist as a marketing strategy expert & audience program manager within the Amex Offers Strategy team. Additionally, this role will support new strategies and tactics to unlock budgets and deepen advertiser engagement, accelerating offer relevance, Card Member value, and Partner Funded Value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Innovate and execute new audience definitions and segmentation tactics using proprietary behavioral data, collaborating closely with analytics/data science teams
  • Socialize program vision across stakeholders, securing enterprise buy-in and aligning cross functional efforts to implement new processes in day-to-day sales workstreams
  • Maintain a forward-thinking perspective on the digital advertising ecosystem leveraging these insights to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and support new sales strategy initiatives, working cross-functionally to expand the program’s impact and relevance to cardmembers
  • Review and interpret behavioral data and descriptive statistics to create campaign recommendations and supporting insights to support merchant-facing discussions
  • Work closely with central Amex Offers stakeholders to package and launch newly developed audience playbook, supporting pitch materials and client conversations with clear data-backed insights
  • Partner with product and analytics teams to build and refine recommendation and measurement modules within existing internal systems.
  • Drive seamless integration of new tools into day-to-day sales and account management workflows

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in strategy, product marketing, or data-driven advertising
  • Ability to help guide cross-functional initiatives, driving alignment among diverse teams (business development, product, operations, analytics)
  • Comfort with basic descriptive statistics, data interpretation, and proficiency in excel
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and enthusiasm across teams by presenting ideas persuasively, embracing diverse perspectives, and fostering a culture of curiosity

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
