JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Staff Accountant will be responsible for all accounting activities supporting the manufacturing operations including adherence to GAAP with financial analysis, reconciliation, journal entries, and standard reporting. This position will be partnering with factory operations to ensure compliance with costing and accounting activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Financial Accounting: Compiles and analyzes financial information in preparation for entry into various financial statements and accounting reports and makes appropriate journal entries for recording in the general ledger by checking calculations, reviewing the basis for figures, and balance reconciling figures.
  • Cost Accounting & Budget Management: Maintaining budgets for factory operations. Completes various forecasting and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of job cost reports. Assist leaders in effectively managing budgets.
  • Project Abstract: Develops a general understanding of the underlying agreements and investment materials for assigned projects Works to become familiar with specific sections that are relevant to better understand the overall structure, including commitments, cost classification, and project fees
  • Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain professional communication with all internal and external project stakeholders. Ensures customer satisfaction by responding to various requests from external investors, lenders, and others related to financial reports.
  • Cast Management: Accurately and timely manages all assigned cash accounts. Performance monthly bank reconciliations, wire transfers, deposits, and other related financial reports and projects.
  • Collaboration: Establishes and maintains professional communication with all internal and external project stakeholders. Develops good working relationships with other departments including but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Finance, Asset Management, and Factory Operations
  • Annual Audits: Act as a liaison to internal and external auditors by explaining journal entries and financial transactions, providing research data and information as requested, and answering questions necessary to complete the audit in a timely manner. Maintains and coordinates accounting control procedures by analyzing revenue and expenditure trends and recommending appropriate budget levels to ensure expenditure control. Communicate with factory operations in completing pre-close and close activities, answer questions, provide support, and ensure timely completion of accounting processes for on-time company reporting.

Additional Compensation:

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
