Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts Costume Design (Fall 2025) UIW Mission Position Summary The NAST-accredited Department of Theatre Arts invites full-time faculty candidates for Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts within the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences beginning August 2025. Full-time faculty at UIW are expected to teach four courses in the fall semester and four courses in the spring semester, primarily related to design training. POSITION SUMMARY This is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction on topics in Culinary Arts in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, faculty are expected to teach a minimum of 15 hours and hold in person and virtual office hours as defined in College Policy. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students.
