Job Summary Registered Nurses on 7Main at UK Chandler Hospital provide care for progressive and acute care patients. Patient conditions include recovery from medical surgical procedures including neurological and neurosurgical, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, vascular, abdominal, kidney and liver surgery. This unit provides comprehensive inpatient progressive and acute care for medical surgical recovery patients. As a part of this unit, the RN serves as an important component of the acute care team. This team is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of multiple medical and surgical disease complications. This position will cross train on the EMU unit.
