As the triage counselor, you will act as a screener for risk and must be knowledgeable in determining appropriate modalities of care such as individual, group, couples counseling, and assessment. In this role you are responsible for providing consultations to university members who have concerns about the mental/emotional status of SCAD students through professional assessment, crisis, counseling, and outreach services. You will be expected to provide after-hours crisis response, assessment, on-call, and coordination as well as supervising and training new graduate hires. In this position you play a crucial role in the risk evaluation of incoming students and assisting in identifying and tracking at-risk students.The ideal candidate must be adaptable to manage the demands of making referrals and assessing students and must demonstrate team skills that will be utilized to collaborate on treatment decisions for students.
