The Associate will strive to deliver on the “check within an hour” promise of the We'll Buy Your Car program.<br><br>This position provides the ability to work flexible hours and offers hourly pay plus a bonus for each vehicle purchased.<p>.</p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Responds to incoming leads through AutoNation and third-party websites, by phone, internet and walk-in traffic</li><li>Utilizes all available resources to identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicle</li><li>Set up appointments with potential customers to visit the dealership for an appraisal</li><li>Executes the AutoNation We'll Buy Your Car Same-Day Payment process</li><li>Reviews vehicle condition reports and inspects vehicles onsite</li><li>Interacts with customers throughout the day, both in person and over the phone</li><li>Refer customers who prefer to trade-in instead of selling their vehicles to the sales team</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Extremely self-motivated</li><li>Ability to set and achieve targeted goals</li><li>Ability to drive an exceptional Customer experience</li><li>Demonstrated communication, prospecting, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Organization and follow-up skills</li><li>Experience and desire to work with technology</li><li>Using sound judgement, research, and excellent interpersonal skills to make offers on vehicles</li><li>Valid In-State Driver's License and an acceptable, safe driving record</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements:</p><ul><li>Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time</li></ul><p>The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by the candidates for this job.
