Position Summary: The purpose of this job is to plan and implement a comprehensive alumni awareness program for Pellissippi State graduates and former and current students to cultivate the interests and philanthropic support of college alumni and community members in collaboration with the director. This work includes leading the planning and implementation of the Swing Big for Students annual fundraiser. This position also provides administrative support for the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Engagement.
Essential Functions:&nbsp; 
60% Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni awareness and fundraising program for Pellissippi State graduates, former and current students in order to strengthen relationships and cultivate the interests and philanthropic support of all constituents. Activities include, but are not limited to the following: Where Are They Now Wednesday features, Distinguished and Volunteer Alumni Awards promotions and processes, workshops and networking events, graduation/reunion events, and other opportunities designed to highlight and engage alumni. Communicate with alumni through a variety of methods, including but not limited to face-to-face, email, phone, enewsletters, and social media. Ensure the accuracy of alumni data and maintain alumni documents. Conduct prospect research and maintain a portfolio of alumni for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual gifts through a variety of methods. &nbsp;Collaborate with faculty and staff across the College to strengthen and foster alumni engagement.
30% Work with the Director to implement funding opportunities that will advance the mission of the College and the Pellissippi State Foundation. In addition, assist in the solicitation of sponsors for Foundation and Alumni fundraising events.
Provide leadership to plan, organize, and execute the Swing Big for Students annual fundraising event from inception to completion through direct solicitation of sponsorships and facilitation of a group of board volunteers, community leaders, and foundation staff. Develop event timelines, budgets and marketing plans to maximize participation and fundraising outcomes. Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal partners. Track and analyze event metrics including revenue, expenses, and ROI.
5% Provide administrative support to the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Engagement
5% Perform other duties as directed. Represent the College at community events and in community organizations. Participate in professional development activities. Participate in campus committee activities and other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities: • Provides and manages direct care to patients and families as part of Interdisciplinary Group (IDG), incorporating psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, physical and biological components, and appropriate nursing intervention and follow-up. • Coordinates the Plan of Care, ensuring that an individualized Plan of Care is developed that accurately reflects the patient’s evolving needs. • Educates patient, family, caregivers and other health professionals about disease process and decline, palliative interventions, care giving, dying process and safety practices. • Reports changes in the patient’s condition to appropriate members of the IDG or other health professionals. • Participates with the IDG to evaluate hospice referrals/admissions for level of care appropriateness. • Attends patient deaths; prepares body for transport; oversees disposal of medications. • Provides appropriate bereavement interventions to the family and caregiver in conjunction with psychosocial staff. • Presents concise and pertinent oral and written reports to IDG; respects and encourages input from all disciplines. • Communicates accurately and completely to physicians, staff members, patients, families, and supervisors; utilizes positive approaches when working with others. • Supervises patient care given by other nursing team members (i.e., LPNs, Hospice Aides, and contract nurses). • Performs other duties as assigned. <h4>Introduction</h4> BELDING WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA (WMA) The CT DEEP Wildlife Division is looking for a seasonal assistant to work at the beautiful Belding Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Vernon. This seasonal position is a great opportunity to work outside and learn about a wide variety of Connecticut’s wildlife, and to get hands-on experience managing their habitats. With over 100 species of birds, Belding WMA has been identified as a Birding Hotspot on the Cornell Lab’s eBird.org website. The goals of Belding WMA are to manage a variety of wildlife and fisheries habitats, to provide environmental education and to provide low-impact recreation. Visitors are introduced to wildlife and natural resources management through various educational programs, demonstration sites and self-guided interpretive trails. Teaching the public about wildlife is a rewarding aspect of the job as well as a great way to learn more about the wildlife of Connecticut. Starting March 2025. The position is thirty-five (35) to forty (40) hours per week and occasional weekend and evening work may be required. There are no benefits with these positions, except paid holiday leave after 90 calendar days of employment. Position is limited to 1040 total hours, approximately 6 months if full-time.
