You will collaborate both within the Structures group and across Triton Systems' technical disciplines to solve complex problems.The candidate must have strong understanding of composite design principles including: reinforcement and matrix selection; laminate mechanical properties; and manufacturing process development and advanced aerospace composites. The candidate will exhibit strong understanding of composites analysis principles, including stress analysis; NDI/NDE and destructive testing; as well as failure analysis. In addition we would be looking for experience with composite fabrication in at least one of the following: laminated prepreg structures; infused structures (VARTM,HPRTM,RFI); filament winding; ATL/AFP; thermoplastic molding; or high temperature composites (PI,BMI,C-C,CMC,C/SiC).
