Students are trained at the state of the art LSC-Process Technology Center which opened in spring 2018.Location address is 14001 Lockwood Rd., Houston, TX 77044.Job DescriptionPURPOSE AND SCOPE:The Maintenance Technician III, HVAC maintains and services repairs on campus-wide heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems. Installs and replaces parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Performs a variety of complicated tasks relying on experience and independent judgment to plan and carry out goals. May lead and coordinate the work of other HVAC employees. Assists Senior Maintenance Techs and Facilities management as needed.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Directs and participates in preventive, corrective, and general maintenance and installation of HVAC systems</li><li>Records daily maintenance activities log and produces periodic reports</li><li>Provides advice and council to HVAC maintenance crew relative to daily tasks</li><li>Assist other HVAC staff with the performance of their duties as needed</li><li>Assists in annual inventory of maintenance department</li><li>Assists with preparation of Requests for Bids for facilities enhancements and equipment/tool purchases.
