Background
As part of the Creative Team within CRS’ marketing and communication department, this position turns compelling and unique CRS stories into engaging video content. The subjects are both the lifesaving work CRS does overseas as well as our US audience, including donors for our Charitable Giving department. With video as an emphasis, we are always looking at ways to elevate our stories and get the focused attention of our audiences.
Job Summary
The Associate Multimedia Content Creator is a key role within the Creative Team. This position is responsible for the production and post-production work necessary to create compelling videos for a variety of internal clients. While the role is centered around video editing skills, the Associate Multimedia Content Creator will also be asked to shoot video and some photos (both domestically and internationally), record sound, choose music and handle some internal production. Using these elements to weave together the stories of the people we serve and our programming, the Multimedia Content Creator ensures that our videos are being created at the highest quality possible.
Lastly, candidates should thrive in a team environment and work alongside a creative team and stakeholders, coordinating production details to ensure ideas are successfully translated.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
Overall
- Work with the Video and Multimedia Lead to ensure the highest standards of video production.
- Must be able to create video and multimedia content across all mediums (social, broadcast, digital, etc.).
- Edit and/or direct video for a variety of in-house projects, specifically for Marcom and CRS’s Mission and Mobilization division.
- Must be able to occasionally shoot video in domestic locations and abroad.

- …scriptwriters to ensure stories are being told in the most effective way possible.
- …Video Producer to inform project timelines and deadlines.
- …Art Directors to ensure brand guidelines are upheld.
- Participate in the production process, from concept, critiques, revisions through final product delivery.
- Assist in maintenance of the CRS video archive
- Assist in maintenance CRS’s online video platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
- Ability to build relationships with creative and production teams as well as stakeholders, to ensure that the end deliverable is considerate of all partner needs.
- Maintains equipment and resources
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of all aspects of video production
- Experience in either Premiere Pro or Final Cut X
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects
- Spanish language proficiency
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge of production equipment (cameras, audio, video recorders, lighting and microphones) for on location and studio production.
- Strong emotional intelligence and people skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detailed-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with virtual reality
Travel– Approximately 5% of this position would involve either domestic or international travel.
