As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounting operations. You will leverage your strong accounting background and passion for creating order while thriving in a fast-paced environment that involves repetitive tasks. While the role involves significant data entry, it is a vital component of the accounting processes. 

To succeed, you should have:        

  • Minimum Associate degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting department (public accounting experience preferred but not required).
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, including multiple entities and intercompany transactions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

Your responsibilities as the Accountant will include:        

  • Perform accurate and timely American Express reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including data entry and transaction oversight.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial records and assist in month-end closing processes.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for daily accounting functions and maintain organized financial records.
