Description

This is a full-time Administrative Support position with the Ware Adult Health Clinic located in Waycross (Ware County), GA.

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Administrative Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support to Southeast Health District Ryan White/HIV Program.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serving as primary point of contact and system administrator for program's electronic medical records (EMR), eClinicalWorks and CareWare.  Conducting extensive EMR data entry and reporting. Serving as the primary point of contact for all clinics to verify and resolve insurance-related issues. Assisting with preparation and submission of insurance claims, including adding CPT codes and modifiers.  Granting/revoking EMR access.   Building and maintaining clinic schedules within the EMR system. Managing multi-line telephone and fax systems.  Addressing inquiries from clients, scheduling client appointments, and assisting with client check-in/out when needed. Performing additional duties as assigned to support efficient clinic operations.  .

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university OR Two years of related experience.

 Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in MS Word and Excel.  Excellent customer service skills. Experience working in a clinic or medical office setting. Experience working with HIV/AIDS patients.  Bilingual-Spanish.
