Case Management Assistant (Workforce Development)
Under the overall supervision of the Training Manager, the Case Management Assistant helps with recruiting, supporting, and tracking of applicants and participants in the LPN Pathway Program.
The Case Manager Assistant provides support in developing and maintaining data records, and developing reports. In addition, the Case Manager Assistant supports the Career Development Counselor in providing case management services to participants to meet retention goals and to ensure success for all participants.
- Assists with recruitment, assessment, interviewing, and supporting the program
candidates in applying for the program and applying to the college.
- Maintains constant contact with participants to support their growth.
- Identifies and advises participants who may have barriers impacting their successful
course completion and employment.
- Maintains accurate real-time records for all participants.
- Maintains a file for each participant that includes documentation of the required
registration forms and all other forms required for the grant.
- Maintains spreadsheets and databases of participant data, including demographic
data, academic data, course progression, documentation completed required for
tracking applicants and planning programs.
- Provides all data required to complete reports to the grant funder.
- May perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED:- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Communications, Human Resources, Health Studies or closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Highly skilled with Google Workspace tools and adept at computer usage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills. Experienced team player with the ability to also work independently.
- Knowledge of the basic work skills required by employers.
- Possess an understanding of the barriers faced by low income populations.
- Possesses the ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and students of all ages.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience and/or training working with adult learners and preparing data reporting for grants.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

Hourly Rate: $35.31
Hours: 18.5 hours/week
Funding Source: Grant (18-24 months)- All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. HCC is not sponsoring H1B Visa.
