Job Summary
The College of Communication and Information Dean’s office is currently seeking a College Project Manager Senior to provide high-level, professional support to the Dean’s Office and College Leadership. This position will be accountable for efficient, effective delivery of professional services required to support the Dean of the College. This role requires frequent interaction, collaboration, planning, and cooperation with senior level executives required to develop and deliver projects to meet the College’s objectives.
Primary responsibilities include providing high-level professional support for travel, scheduling, compliance, project management and data analytics. The position serves as a liaison with the college leadership and external partners; reviews and prioritizes all requests of the Dean’s office; anticipates critical tasks and ensures all deadlines are met. This position will also work to build a pipeline of engaged donors and volunteers.
Other responsibilities include direct supervision of student workers in the Dean’s office, and managing the daily operation/workflow of the Dean’s Office.

The College of Communication and Information is composed of two schools (The School of Journalism and Media, School of Information Science), two departments (Department of Communication, Department of Integrated Strategic Communication) and an interdisciplinary graduate program. More than 2,000 undergraduate majors and 350 graduate students are led by more than 100 full-time faculty, who also teach in the university’s core curriculum and serve students pursuing minors and certificates in the College. The College also houses UK’s independent student newspaper, The Kentucky Kernel, and the championship-winning Intercollegiate Debate Team.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
