Job Description

Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our manufacturing plant in Beaumont, TX. The
successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our plant operations through the
implementation of continuous improvement projects. This individual will be responsible for
filling our continuous improvement project pipeline, overseeing Management of Change
(MOC) initiatives, and managing projects to ensure safe and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement Projects:
● Identify and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement across all areas of
the manufacturing plant.
● Develop and implement projects to improve operational efficiency, productivity,
quality, and safety.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, perform root cause analysis,
and develop solutions for process optimization.
● Monitor and evaluate project performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure
project objectives are met.
Management of Change (MOC) Oversight:
● Oversee the MOC process to ensure proper planning, documentation, and execution
of changes.
● Review and approve MOC requests, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental,
and regulatory requirements.
● Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify potential hazards and
develop mitigation strategies.
● Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth
implementation of approved changes.

Project Management:
● Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for continuous improvement initiatives.
● Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and
efficient project execution.
● Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report on project
status to plant management.
● Identify and implement measures to minimize project risks and ensure successful
project completion.

Safety and Cost Optimization:
● Prioritize safety in all aspects of continuous improvement projects, ensuring
compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
● Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process optimization, waste reduction,
and resource utilization improvements.
● Analyze data and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making and
justify project investments.

Qualifications

Core Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, project management,
or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
● Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools, with a proven track
record of successful project implementations.
● Experience with MOC processes, including risk assessments, impact analyses, and
change management.
● Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet
deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision
making.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and
influence cross-functional teams.
