Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Coordinator III, Outreach and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is responsible for recruiting non-traditional students and the coordination of communications in the customer relationship management (CRM) system for LSC-CyFair in the Student Outreach & Recruitment department. This position supervises staff and provides oversight and facilitation of day-to-day operations and some long-term initiatives, playing a strong role in leading and planning, development, evaluation and improvement of outreach initiatives and communications. Frequent evening and weekend hours required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Attend college fairs, community job fairs, and business functions, and builds relationships with businesses, community organizations, and external partners to seek opportunities to recruit and provide college information to community members and non-traditional prospective students
  • Collaborates with colleagues across LSC-CyFair to promote academic programs, student support services, and campus events. Supports department initiatives by driving enrollment and outreach efforts through events, special initiatives, and CRM system
  • Transports and sets up large items and/or marketing materials for community and campus events as needed
  • Supervises part-time and/or full-time staff within the department directly and indirectly
  • Leads special projects as needed to support departmental objectives
  • Develops and deploys recruitment communications in line with LSC brand standards, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms
  • Manages CRM communication plans for email, SMS, and MMS campaigns, overseeing both one-time and ongoing campaigns. Monitors operations to ensure effective performance
  • Analyzes campaigns, strategies, and trends to enhance messaging and event effectiveness, providing detailed reports on results and insights for continuous improvement
  • Coordinates day-to-day operations including purchasing, budgeting, and scheduling of events
  • Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

The work is both sedentary with the employee sitting comfortably to do the work and can also require long periods of standing and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds. There may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:

  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
  • Work is performed inside and outdoors, with exposure to dust, dirt, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bilingual (English/Spanish)

·         Bilingual (English/Vietnamese)

Salary

Hiring salary range is $48,152 - $55,375.

Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
