Consulting:
- Serve as a lead consultant, building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring departments.
- Provide resources and tools to support faculty and staff recruitment and selection, including coaching, training, and developing search-specific resources.
- Partner with Search Committee Chairs to develop recruitment plans that align with the University’s strategic goals.
- Lead trainings on general hiring principles, develop interview guides and resources as well as share hiring and selection best practices.
Supervision:
- Supervise a team of an Employment Consultant and Employment Specialists, supporting campus hiring efforts.
- Oversee hiring, coaching, and performance management with support from the HR Employment Manager.
Service Development and Organizational Improvement:
- Lead work teams and projects to continuously improve departmental services.
- Develop and share services and resources under the Hiring Enhancement Program.
Customer Service:
- Provide and model exceptional customer service throughout the hiring process to all hiring departments.
- Assist with executive search recruitment, including creating search timelines, building candidate profiles, and coordinating logistics.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate must have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, effectively influence, coach and train hiring departments and provide leadership and problem solving. This individual must possess professional knowledge of hiring and selection techniques and quickly be able to gain an understanding of the business operations of distinct units of the University. The successful individual will deliver superior customer service, have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, planning and organization skills, information monitoring and analysis, and presentation skills. We are seeking a collaborative, innovative individual with a strong respect for inclusivity and high emotional intelligence, which are all keys to success in this position.

Preferred Education/Experience
Prefer several years of experience and a proven track record in hiring and selection, coaching and/or consultation. Experience with Behavioral Based Interviewing techniques is a plus.
