The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Serving as a core member of an agile team that drives user story analysis and develops responsive web applications.
- Performing hands-on software development, typically spending most of time actually writing code and unit tests, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints
- Perform ongoing refactoring of code, applying visualization and other techniques to fast track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement
- Developing deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
- Bring a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement
- Challenging status quo, demonstrate risk taking, and implement creative ideas
- Good attitude, communication, willingness to learn and collaborate
- Lead your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Work closely with product managers, back-end and other front-end developers to implement versatile solutions to tricky web development problems
- Finalizing HTML prototypes into Web Applications by integrating with back-end services and functionality
- Adopt emerging standards while promoting standard methodologies and consistent framework usage.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent 5+ years of work experience
- 3-5 years validated experience working in JavaScript and able to demonstrate good JavaScript knowledge
- Ability to demonstrate good web fundamentals & knowledge of DOM
- Experience writing adaptive and responsive UI applications
- Knowledge of HTML5, React, Redux, Angular, Express, Middleware with recent experience in ES6
- 3-5 years demonstrated ability in writing JavaScript applications in Node.js
- Experience with REST based interfaces.
- Experience of working in Java, Java EE is a big plus.
- 3+ years experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing, including frameworks such as, WebDriverIO, Cucumber.JS
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery(CI/CD)
- 5+ yrs working experience in an Agile or SAFe development environment
- 1+ year experience of Graph QL is a big plus.
- Experience in a11y and I18N is a plus
Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
