We are looking for a HR Business Analyst, Workday, to enhance our HR technology capabilities, support business objectives, and serve as an HCM subject matter expert to support our growing team.The HR Business Analyst, Workday will serve as a key resource within the HR Operations team, responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday, our Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
This role ensures HR technology processes support business objectives efficiently while aligning with industry best practices and the evolving business applications landscape, and will be instrumental in the continued expansion and deployment of Workday functionality and solutions.
The HR Business Analyst, Workday will act as the Workday subject-matter-expert working in a collaborative, cross functional environment driving innovative solutions that deliver process efficiencies and an optimal end-user experience.
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of HR processes, strong technical acumen, proven experience implementing enterprise systems, and hands-on experience with Workday configurations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an internal consultant with global HR and business stakeholders to understand business requirements, providing technical expertise and developing sustainable solutions and improvements
- Configure, maintain and enhance the Workday system, ensuring optimal system performance, data integrity and compliance with evolving regulations
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday, providing guidance and support to end-users and resolving system-related issues
- Provide daily system support and monitor overall system performance, ensuring optimal functionality to meet the needs of business
- Serve as the application administrator, managing user security, permissions, and performing regular audits
- Review, configure, and enhance business processes within Workday to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Develop and implement new modules, features, and system integrations to enhance system performance in collaboration with cross functional stakeholders
- Create, maintain and improve custom reports, dashboards and analytics working proactively with end users to support strategic initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including process workflows, user guides, and training materials
- Work cross-functionally on HR technology projects, including upgrades, implementations of new features, and integrations with other systems.
- Actively mitigate risk by developing data audit protocols and conducting regular audits for compliance.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to data security and compliance standards, including any relevant regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Workday's semi-annual release process, proactively managing change with end users and process owners to address critical impacts and upcoming enhancement opportunities
- Continuously increase technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums to ensure optimal utilization of Workday.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of Workday experience working for high-growth or significant transformation environments within global companies
- Strong business acumen coupled with knowledge of HR best practices, HR processes, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Workday, including core HCM, business processes, reporting, and security, including process configuration, testing, implementation, and enhancements. Knowledge of other Workday modules such as Talent, Benefits, or Payroll is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and generate meaningful insights to guide HR strategy.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a remote environment
- Workday certifications a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of additional reporting tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL).

Salary range
- $100,000 - $140,000 per year
