The Inventory Supervisor maintains a high level of inventory accuracy and product integrity by monitoring and counting inventory levels and product movement and researching and correcting discrepancies. The Inventory Supervisor tracks inventory, including consignment inventory. Reporting inventory levels and issues to management, looking for any discrepancy with inventory, and creating reports that show available inventory or issues with inventory counts. Develop and sustain policies to ensure efficient inventory control,
· Oversee inventory control.
· Inspect & cycle count inventory, maintaining inventory records.
· Track and document changes in inventory.
· Perform cycle counts or check different sections of inventory on a rotating basis.
· Reconcile discrepancies.
· Use our ERP system to communicate inventory information with other business units.
· Ensure proper labeling.
· Lead annual physical inventory.
· Ability to supervise 1-2 direct reports
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, computer science or 5 years’ experience in Inventory Management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· Comfortable problem solving and decision-making using leadership and time management skills.
· Fluent in enterprise resource planning and critical thinking.
· Demonstrated strong work ethic and strict attention to detail.
· Highly organized and detail oriented; with excellent time management skills.
· Ability to write basic reports, business correspondence and procedures
· Will strive for continuous improvement.
· Able to interface with teams and conduct control testing.
· Experience with ERP and spreadsheet software and systems.
