IT Asset Management Analyst
Job Description and Requirements
The IT Asset Management Analyst is part of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team and will assist the IT Asset Supervisor in formulating the long term strategic management of the RBFCU IT assets. The position will be responsible for tracking, processing and documenting procedures, reclamation, and disposal of all IT hardware throughout the enterprise. Responsibilities include assisting teams with updating and maintaining the data integrity of the IVANTI Configuration Management Database (CMDB). In addition, the Asset Management Analyst assists the Desktop Support team, IT Service Desk personnel and Purchasing with planning and coordination of hardware.
Essential Function & Responsibilities:
- Applicant must possess at least three to five years’ experience in analytical capacity.
- Working knowledge of a Service Management tool i.e. IVANTI, BMC Remedy, Service Now, etc.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles and concepts applicable to IT hardware, software, and inventory administration and control.
- Working knowledge of software asset management policies, practices, technology, and licensing in the Windows Desktop platforms.
- Strong conceptual technical background in Information Technology with a focus on infrastructure.
- Willing to participates in moderate to highly complex projects within or outside of the department.
- Strong research and data analysis skills with the ability to communicate results with colleagues and management.
- Strong verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills necessary as well as ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED. Some College - Computer Science, Info Sys Management
- 1-3 years' job-related experience in an analytical capacity
- Function in a fast paced, office environment
- Periodic travel by car or airplane with overnight stays
- Hand/Finger dexterity
- Able to lift 30+ pounds
- Sit for an extended period of time
Skills and/or Certifications and Licensing:
- IT Asset Management Certifications preferred (IAITAM)
- Possess an excellent understanding of inventory management and analytic systems
- Detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical and information gathering skills
- Establish and cultivate a broad network of collaborative relationships both within, and outside the organization with strong oral and written communication skills
