Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a New Hire Onboarding Coordinator to work in our Onboarding department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule on-site located out of Idaho Falls, Idaho with every other Friday off. You will report to the Onboarding Program Lead and and will work to onboard new hires and interns.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide specialized administrative support in area of focus. Areas of focus may be Compensation, Benefits, New Hire Orientation, or other related areas.
  • Prepare routine and specialized reports and respond to internal/external HR data requests (such as internal company reports, DOE reports, corporate reports, and HR self-assessment reports).
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions. File personnel and employee benefit information in applicable systems.
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
  • Help administer employee benefit programs.
  • Manage authorized external security personnel while reviewing employee files.
  • May help ensure that the lab is compliant with all Federal regulations associated with onboarding new staff, Include Department of Labor I-9 verification, W4 completion, various DOD and DOE communications, security clearances, and DOE HSPD-12 badging.
  • Help create and maintain presentations and/or slides for HR-related functions.
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed (e.g., security, Talent Acquisition, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Level 3: High School or equivalent and 4 years related experience.
  • Level 4: High School or equivalent and 6 years related experience.
  • Related Experience: creating, presenting, and organizing presentation materials and content to both in-person and virtual audiences.


Job Information:

  • The pay range for this position is: Level #3 ($22.43 - $37.00) / Level #4 ($25.79 - $42.54). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
