Project Manager (LMI PM) - Clearance Required
Overview
LMI is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead our Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) team, ensuring the successful conception, specification, design, programming, documentation, testing, and maintenance of detailed analytical modelling, data structures, and tailored analytical products that inform development of space capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Program Management and Operational Analysis, with expertise in managing cross-functional teams and complex technical projects. The Program Manager will be responsible for leading the integration of data driven tools and methodologies, including Data Science approach to design, Physics-based modelling of complex space-based and terrestrial architectures, and the associated model development, to deliver best-in-class analytics to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Anaytical Development team, provide guidance and direction, ensure project success and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, and develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
- Manage cross-functional teams of space engineers, testers, and model developers to execute project tasks and deliverables effectively.
- Coordinate with software development and operations teams to implement best practices in data/configuration management, appropriate analtical tools and models, and crafting compelling analytical products that educate and drive recommendations for acquisition of space capabilities.
- Drive the completion of program Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure provide a transparent customer line of communication on the progress of work.
- Leverage the Dynamic Vizualization Team to most impactfully inform a diverse customer base.
- Facilitate model development activities, collaborating with stakeholders to determine and fulfill event requirements.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Proven experience in program or project management, with a focus on System Engineering based projects.
- Strong understanding of analytical methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex technical projects, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in project management tools, software, and practicies such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Scrum, and/or OKRs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills
- Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with military space operations and their components including all supporting/supported agencies.
Target salary range: $104,040 - $183,600. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
