SCADhome Program Coordinator
As a SCADhome program coordinator, you will oversee community events, programs, and activities, providing logistical support and communication. You will offer administrative assistance to the director of SCADhome and other departmental staff through document preparation and calendar management. You will arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and organize meeting spaces, and record minutes. Additionally, you will prepare reports and presentations for departmental and university leadership, manage office supply inventory, and track and report expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility and budget adherence.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with various departments to enhance the residential student experience. You will coordinate and implement initiatives that promote community building, wellness, and academic success to support student development. Effective communication with students, parents, faculty, and staff will be essential to promote these programs. You will assist with maintenance work orders, mail tracking, guest housing, and electronic access and key systems. You will also manage student staff selection and training processes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. This individual must maintain discipline, honesty, and integrity at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least one year of related professional experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Banner or a similar database
Travel required:
- Less than 10%
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
