Overview

LMI is seeking a Senior Appian Application Administrator who is customer oriented, analytical, and has the ability to partner with Army PEO EIS and ODASA(P) to support the Army Contracting Enterprise (ACE) assisting with incidents and requests to maintain the Army Contract Writing System (ACWS).

Responsibilities

Performing hands on procurement system technical and functional troubleshooting and support to the Army Contracting Enterprise to maintain accessibility and availability of ACWS for users.

  • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and attention to detail, in resolving technical, and operational issues across the organization. 
  • Develop and implement solutions to enhance productivity within Appian, leveraging relevant tools and technologies. 
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to Appian's global employees through Service Desk cases, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of issues.
  • To provide on-call resolution for mission critical issues and document solutions within the case management system
  • To enhance overall system security, performance and availability
  • Manage end-user hardware and software inventory throughout its lifecycle, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and disposal procedures.
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders of many levels, having the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical resources. 
  • To maintain a comprehensive repository of documentation, regularly updating and contributing to it, to capture best practices and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Exhibit an interest in emerging technologies, with basic understanding of cloud computing. 
  • To perform a variety of basic user-problem analyses for the customer Service Desk; assists with monitoring the application systems and ensures a prompt and appropriate response to customer requests and issues. 

Qualifications

  • Secret Clearance Required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Information Technology, Systems, Computer Science, or related degree.
  • Demonstrated experience with Appian platform and interfacing systems.
  • Current Security+ Computing Environment (CE).
  • 5+ years’ experience of contract writing system enterprise implementations.
  • An advanced understanding of the Army Contracting Enterprise user community, and the ability to develop targeted communications and training for the purpose of building core shared knowledge and resolving repeating incidents, service requests, and problems.  
  • Experience with documentation development (e.g., SOPs, training aids, desk guides, etc.) 
  • Understanding and ability to comply with the DoD 8500 series, DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), JF-HQ DoDIN and USCYBERCOM Orders, and DISA guides (SRGs and STIGs)
  • Superior communication skills, customer service skills, and attention to detail 
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic customer environment
