Great opportunity exists for a Therapeutic Training and Support staff to join our dedicated team of professionals in Brockton!  Therapeutic Training & Support is a service provided by a person working under the supervision of a clinician to support implementation of the clinician’s treatment plan to assist the youth and family in achieving the goals of the plan. The person assists the clinician in implementing the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan designed to address the youth’s mental health, behavioral, and emotional needs. This service includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth’s emotional and mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to youth’s home and throughout the community
  • Be available from 8:00am-8:00pm for home visits
  • Regular coordination with collaterals providers, including schools, state agencies and other team members
  • Assist the family in identifying and utilizing community resources and natural supports
  • Maintain accurate clinical charts and follow all clinical documentation timelines and requirements
  • Participate in weekly supervision and staff meetings
  • Meet agency productivity requirements

Required Skills

  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Access to a personal vehicle for client transportation
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Computer proficiency required





Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree with a concentration in Psychology, Human Services or related fields
  • Must have at least 1 year of previous experience working with children and adolescents with mental health issues with their families
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record preferred
