Vice President, Enrollment Management
Position Purpose
Under the supervision of the Provost, the Vice President for Enrollment Management directly oversees the college’s student recruitment and outreach, admissions, and financial aid programs. The Vice President for Enrollment Management chairs the college’s Candidate Selection Committee. The position supervises four employees: two Admissions Associates, Enrollment Associate, and the Financial Aid Director.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervises/evaluates four employees: Admissions Associates (2), Enrollment Associate, and Financial Aid Director
- Manages the college’s admissions and enrollment processes
- With significant assistance from Provost, oversees the college’s financial aid process
- Responsible for all admission publications and marketing materials to include print, web content, and social media advertising
- Using the institution’s Student Management System (Blackbaud), oversees the maintenance of the admissions database for candidates and accepted students
- Oversees use of the college’s approved CRM (Hubspot) software for outreach to prospective candidates in various stages of the admissions application process
- Serves as college’s primary liaison in building new admissions related relationships with secondary school guidance professionals and community-based organizations
- Manages the college’s Student Recruiting program, where currently enrolled Williamson students assist the admissions department in recruiting visits & events.
- Researches, develops, and implements new strategies for student recruitment
- Prepares and conducts admissions tour events of the Williamson campus
- Manages the college’s candidate interview process for prospective students
- Chairs the Candidate Selection Committee of new students; Member of the college’s Academic Assessment Committee for new applicants; and lastly chairs the Admissions Strategic Planning Committees
- With the assistance of the Provost, manages the five-day Freshmen Orientation program and the college’s Summer Trade Camp program.
- Attends periodic conferences and events for professional development
Qualifications (Skills and Abilities Required)
Desired qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with experience in recruiting, marketing, and/or student counseling. Experience with student records management and public relations is highly desired.
Working Conditions
Travel requirements include traveling to high schools and other community organizations
