Job Summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a full-time temporary, 9-month, Visiting Lecturer in Dance to join our outstanding faculty in the UK Department of Theatre & Dance for Fall 2025. Our new colleague will teach all levels of Jazz Dance. Other courses may include ballet, modern, hip-hop, musical theatre dance and/or African, and Introduction to Dance. Candidates will also choreograph for the annual dance concert and choreograph for a theatre or musical theatre production.
Candidates should demonstrate a successful record of recruitment, teaching, performance, and professional integrity. Standard teaching expectation is three courses per semester which includes teaching core courses in dance, technique, and other topics of interest.

• links to two dance work samples, one concert dance work and one musical theatre
• links to two teaching samples, one of teaching technique and one of class movement content
