Within MDOE,&nbsp;Merchant Data &amp; Analytic Platforms team is responsible for creating and maintaining merchant-focused data solutions to power analytical and reporting capabilities and support enterprise strategy. We are seeking an Analyst/Sr. Analyst to join our team to work on scaling the data products to different use cases, analyze the rich merchant data to unearth opportunities and design solutions that fit within the current data landscape. This role is an exciting opportunity for a passionate analyst that is ready to learn and grow within the data product space. Primary responsibilities include:<ul><li>Work alongside Product Owner(s) to develop a product-level strategy and roadmap with initial focus on Merchant Organized Data Layer in Amex google Cloud platform Lumi.</li><li>Create feature and user story definitions working closely with Product Owners</li><li>Establish acceptance criteria, test strategy, and write user acceptance test cases</li><li>Be a data quality guru and build subject matter expertise in linking data dependencies from the SOR to suite of products, and enabling the rapid creation of new and valuable insights to drive the business</li><li>Develop deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within the supported domains</li><li>Work closely with the Data Science/analytics team to identify how advanced analytics, can be leveraged to build new product features</li><li>Develop and adapt processes to take maximum advantage of technology advancements, reduce manual effort through automation, and drive accuracy and efficiency</li></ul>Required Skills/Qualifications:<ul><li>Qualification:Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, data analytics, or engineering&nbsp;</li><li>Product management experience: 1–2-year experience in large scale data as a service products or digital platforms using Agile methodology is preferred </li><li>Problem solving:&nbsp;Demonstrable analytical aptitude and ability to analyze data to come up with meaningful insights and make informed business decisions. Hands on experience on Hive, Python, SQL, Big Query is required </li><li>Effective communicator and influencer: Excellent verbal and written communication with an ability to convert business requirements to tech features </li></ul>Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
