Job Duties

<li>Responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field.</li>

Telecommunications first trimester incorporates several certifications built on recognized industry standards in the study of copper and fiber optic-based systems, along with telephony and cabling to prepare students to sit for C-TECH certifications. The second trimester concentrates on hardware, windows, MAC, and Linux, storage, networking, mobile devices, system management, implementation and file management utilizing Test-out to prepare students for CompTIA A+ certification. During the last trimester students study satellite fundamentals, residential electrical systems, audio-video, and security-surveillance with practical applications to prepare for SBCA and ETA STS certifications.</li>
<li>Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual student progress; assist with maintaining student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates.</li>
<li>Maintain good public relations with business and industry, assist with advisory committee and cooperate with outside agencies.</li>
<li>This position may also supervise and follow up on students participating in cooperative education.</li>

      Telecommunications Faculty
    

This regular, full-time position is responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the women’s soccer program. The position reports to the Athletic Director in the Division of External Affairs. This position will participate in regular fundraising activities for the women’s soccer program and athletic department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for complying with the rules and regulations of the NJCAA and TCCAA as they relate to the women’s soccer program.</li>
<li>Responsible for coordinating student-athlete recruitment activities for the women’s soccer team including, but not limited to, tracking the admissions and eligibility process involving recruited student-athletes.</li>
<li>Responsible for scheduling and supervising all practices and games and submitting statistics to the TCCAA, Region VII, and NJCAA national offices.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Make travel arrangements for the women’s soccer team and reserve DSCC vehicles as early as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts.&nbsp;</li>

Director of FLIGHT Mentor Center UIW Mission Position Summary The Director of the FLIGHT Mentor Center, in coordination with a Faculty Advisory Board, establishes and manages the daily functions of both a virtual and physical center dedicated to training and supporting an array of mentors to support undergraduate students' progression to graduation.
