The incumbent will play an influential role working closely with partners in Product, Sales, RPDS &amp; GSN to create and drive strategies to grow the portfolio through transformational ideas and new capabilities that outclass competitors and provide world-class customer experience.The incumbent’s key responsibilities will include but not limited to:<ul><li>Incumbent is responsible for managing the capacity/limit management for the US GCS portfolios – this includes the analytics, strategy and capabilities </li><li>Partner closely with the New-Accounts risk team to launch strategies to improve customer experience and increase application volumes</li><li>Partner with Product and RPDS to launch new capabilities like Codat and recurring underwriting framework </li><li>Work with the Product, Servicing, and Sales teams within the GCS organization and broader CFR organization to design and implement strategic initiatives that enable prudent and profitable growth while controlling for through-the-cycle volatility.</li><li>Drive deep-dive analytics and partner with the Decision Science team to enhance economic logic that supports core risk management decisions.</li><li>Lead, engage, and inspire a large team of high performing risk management professionals </li></ul>QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess: <ul><li>5+ years of experience in relevant credit risk management expertise </li><li>Strategic thinking, with a focus on innovation</li><li>Deep knowledge of commercial business and AXP risk capabilities</li><li>Deep knowledge on financial statements and key financial ratios </li><li>Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving both practical and theoretical business problems</li><li>Intellectual curiosity, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and an ability to re-engineer long-standing processes and infrastructure</li><li>Ability to build strong relationships, operate within large cross-functional teams, and influence business partners to drive change</li><li>Advanced degree in statistics, econometrics, operations research, mathematics, data science, engineering, business management or a related quantitative field of study</li></ul>Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
